Key Club + National Honors Society Registration

Wellesley High School Key Club + NHS  Volunteer  Registration

In partnership with Wellesley High School's Key Club and National Honors Society, we've established a dedicated registration portal for students at WHS who want to volunteer at the Brightmoon Foundation. We offer a number of volunteer positions that involve both in-person and online opportunities with our partners. Read more below to find out about what you'll be doing with each position!

DETAILS FOR EACH POSITION

Tutors will teach weekly at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dorchester, where teachers will help 5th-8th grade students one-on-one in a variety of subjects. This program is designed to adapt to the needs of each tutoree so teachers must be flexible and comfortable thinking on the spot. It does not have to be a weekly commitment, but it is an in-person opportunity every Saturday from 10-12.

Volunteers who choose to teach at La Colaborativa will be developing or using a pre-existing AP program. They could also teach a class of a chosen subject that is geared towards high schoolers. This will be a virtual opportunity due to Covid.

Volunteers interested in teaching virtually during school vacations can join the Brightmoon Foundation's in-house workshops. If you're interested in teaching more recreational classes that span shorter lengths of time, this position is perfect for you.
